Hootsuite Pro, Team, Business and Enterprise users can assign messages to themselves, or to teams or team members, allowing comprehensive and efficient replying across an organization’s social networks.
When a post or comment is assigned, the assignee will receive an email notifying them of the assignment, and a banner showing the name of the assignee and assigner is saved along the top of the post or comment.
Assignments are managed from the Assignments section of the Hootsuite dashboard. Business and Enterprise customers can also manage their assignments in the new Assignments Manager.
Messages from the following stream types can be assigned:
All Twitter streams, excluding Scheduled.
All Google+ Page streams, excluding Scheduled Messages.
All Facebook streams, excluding Events, Scheduled and Activity (Groups).
All Instagram streams, excluding Followers, Following and Scheduled.
