When are automated extensions, such as Seller Ratings, shown?
- When an account is white-listed for them.
- When Google predicts they’ll improve ad performance.
- When an automated extension campaign is created.
- When an advertiser manually opts in to receive them.
Explanation:
When customers search on Google, they sometimes see seller ratings extensions with your ad. These ratings come from reputable third-party sources and reflect the overall consumer experience with your business. You don’t need to be a Shopping advertiser or have a Google Merchant Center account for your ads or listings to be eligible for seller ratings extensions. However, if you’re not a Shopping advertiser, we’ll only show seller ratings for your free listings on the Search Network. If you are a Shopping advertiser, then we may also show seller ratings for your Shopping ads.
